Air Peace Crew Dispute NSIB Report on Alcohol and Drug Test After Runway Incident

Air Peace crew members reject the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau's (NSIB) report claiming trace alcohol and THC in toxicology tests after an incident on July 13, 2025, at Port Harcourt International Airport. The preliminary report highlighted safety concerns due to the aircraft veering off the runway during landing.

Airline staff, led by Bernard Victory, refuted the findings, vowing to challenge NSIB's conclusions. The incident raised immediate safety worries, attributing the aircraft incursion to miscommunication or pilot error.

NSIB's Director of Public Affairs, Bimbo Oladeji, signed the preliminary report. The crew insists they never tested positive for prohibited substances and will contest the NSIB's claims.
