Air Peace has denied allegations of abandoning passengers in Barbados, citing visa-related issues. The airline clarified that passengers lacked necessary transit visas for their final destinations, including Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

Air Peace promptly provided full refunds and rerouting options to affected passengers, with 42 passengers opting for rerouting to Barbados. The airline emphasized that passengers were not coerced to travel to Barbados and were offered assistance due to unforeseen delays.

Passengers who faced issues with onward connecting flights were advised to seek alternative arrangements.
