Air Peace Commits to Nigeria-UK Air Corridor, Expands Services to Heathrow

Air Peace, Nigeria's lead carrier, reaffirms its commitment to the Nigeria-UK air corridor, with Chairman Dr. Allen Onyema pledging to sustain operations on the highly competitive route.

The airline aims to survive in the international aero-political landscape, particularly on the London routes. Despite the dominance of foreign carriers like British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, Air Peace has seen steady growth since launching direct Lagos-London Gatwick operations in March 2024, expanding its UK network to include Abuja-Heathrow services from October 2025.

The airline now operates daily flights from Lagos to Gatwick and multiple weekly services from Abuja to Heathrow via Gatwick.
