Airtel Africa's Profit Surges 375.3% in H1 2025 on Tariff Hikes

Airtel Africa Plc's half-year results for H1 2025 show a significant 375.3% year-on-year increase in profit, attributed to tariff adjustments. Revenue rose by 25.8%, reaching 2.982 billion compared to 2.370 billion in H1 2024.

The company plans to increase its capital expenditure to 900 million for FY 2026 to capitalize on market opportunities. Airtel Africa also focuses on reducing foreign currency debt exposure and improving customer experience through digital innovation and network expansion.
