Ajax Sacks Coach After Victor Osimhen's Hat-Trick in Champions League

Ajax terminated coach John Heitinga's contract following a 3-0 defeat by Galatasaray, where Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick. Heitinga was immediately replaced by assistant coach Marcel Keizer.

Technical director Alex Kroes cited lack of progress and unnecessary dropped points as reasons for the decision. Despite having a valid contract till the season's end, Kroes also resigned.
