Akwa Ibom Governor Eno Unveils Development Plans on State's 38th Anniversary

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State outlines achievements and sets new development targets in a broadcast marking the state's 38th anniversary. He highlighted the state's transformation since its creation in 1987, emphasizing infrastructure, agriculture, security, and social welfare.

Governor Eno paid tribute to the state's founding father and former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, for his role in granting Akwa Ibom's request. The administration's focus on the ARISE Agenda prioritizes sectors like agriculture, healthcare, and tourism for sustainable economic growth.

The state has completed and initiated road projects totaling 771 kilometers across its three senatorial districts.
