Akwa Ibom Seeks PPP Strengthening with Small-Scale Industrialists for Growth

In Akwa Ibom State, the Nigerian Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI) seeks to strengthen partnerships with small-scale industrialists to boost growth. The state's Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Captain Iniobong Ekong (rtd), emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships (PPP) in enhancing small businesses' development.

Addressing a stakeholder meeting in Uyo, Captain Ekong highlighted NASSI's role in Governor Umo Eno's ARISE Agenda for entrepreneurship and small business development. The Commissioner stressed the need for peace and dialogue to ensure NASSI's effectiveness in promoting entrepreneurship and sustaining small enterprises across the state.

National President of NASSI, Dr. Solomon Vongfa, commended the Commissioner's intervention in resolving the leadership crisis within the association, paving the way for enhanced support for small businesses.
