Alakija Donates Medical Research Hospital to UNIOSUN, Boosting Healthcare in Nigeria

Nigerian philanthropist Modupe Folorunso Alakija has delivered a 250-bed medical research and training hospital to Osun State University, donated through Famfa Oil Limited. The facility, aimed at advancing medical training, research, and specialist healthcare delivery, was commended by former Vice President Prof.

Yemi Osinbajo. The hospital, conceptualized in 2018, focuses on addressing healthcare gaps and improving medical outcomes in Nigeria.

Osun State University's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Odunayo Clement Adebooy, praised the hospital's transformative impact on medical education and research in Africa.
