Nollywood Actor Alexx Ekubo Dies from Cancer Complications

Alexx Ekubo, a well-known figure in Nollywood, passed away due to complications from advanced metastatic kidney cancer, as confirmed by his family in a statement released on Thursday. He was hospitalized at Evercare Hospital in Lagos.

The family described his illness as brief but noted that he faced it with strength and faith. They mentioned that friends had no idea of the seriousness of his condition, as he had reassured them in his last Instagram post dated December 30, 2024.
