Alhaji Waziri Ibrahim's Legacy of Politics Without Bitterness

Alhaji Waziri Ibrahim, a prominent leader of the Great Nigeria People's Party (GNPP), advocated for "Politics Without Bitterness," a philosophy that sought to foster civility and mutual respect in Nigeria's political environment. His campaign in April 1983 was marked by a significant event when he chose to cancel a rally in Nguru, Yobe State, to honor the memory of Mallam Aminu Kano, leader of the People's Redemption Party (PRP), who had recently passed away.
