Minister Nnaji Urges UNN to Release Academic Transcript Amid Certificate Forgery Allegations

Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, has urged the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) to release his academic transcript amidst alleged certificate forgery claims. Nnaji, who has been embattled since his nomination in July 2023, defended himself by presenting evidence of his graduation in 1985 with a BSc Degree.

He emphasized that UNN should not delay the release of his academic records and accused the university of playing politics. Nnaji provided documents showing his admission in 1981 and graduation in 1985, clarifying discrepancies in his name on the graduation brochure.

The case is currently before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
