Presidency Delays Action on Nnaji Amid Certificate Forgery Allegations

The Presidency has announced that there will be no action taken against Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Uche Nnaji, regarding alleged certificate forgery until a court verdict is reached. The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, disowned a certificate purportedly submitted by Nnaji, stating discrepancies in his academic records.

Nnaji, however, has denied the allegations, calling them politically motivated. The government is awaiting the court's decision on the matter before making any moves.

The case is currently before the Federal High Court, and the Presidency clarified that no action will be taken until the court rules on the certificate forgery issue.
