Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo Urges Removal of VP Shettima Over Alleged Christian Persecution

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a regional leader of the Church of Christ Nation, urges the National Assembly to sack Vice President Shettima due to alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

This call comes after the U.S. classified Nigeria as a country violating religious freedom. Shettima, a former Borno State governor, is accused of overseeing policies leading to the genocide of Christians.

The situation has strained diplomatic relations between Nigeria and the U.S. Ali Modu Sheriff, another former Borno governor, denies creating Boko Haram.

The call for Shettima's removal is based on concerns of religious freedom violations in the country.
