Amaechi and Dickson Raise Concerns on Electoral Integrity Ahead of 2027 Polls

Former Governor Rotimi Amaechi and Senator Henri Seriake Dickson raised alarm over electoral integrity in Nigeria at the 5th-anniversary lecture of First Daily in Abuja. They highlighted the importance of genuine electoral reforms to prevent the undermining of democracy.

Amaechi stressed the role of media and civic advocacy in holding leaders accountable, while Dickson condemned electoral malpractices and called for stronger protection of democratic values. Both leaders urged Nigerians to demand fair and transparent elections to reflect the true will of the people.
