Ambode Declares Intention to Contest 2027 Lagos Guber Election, Backs Tinubu for Re-Election

Former Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has declared his intention to contest the 2027 Lagos gubernatorial election while endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election. Ambode made this announcement during a sensitization program in Badagry, urging residents to register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

He emphasized the need for continuity and progress in governance, stating that Tinubu has the capacity to lead the country. Ambode expressed his personal ambition to serve Lagos with a renewed vision to address current challenges and build on past achievements.

The sensitization exercise aims to mobilize residents for active participation in the democratic process.
