Tinubu Declares Tax Laws Effective Amid Controversy

The Nigerian political landscape is embroiled in a tax law reform controversy as Bola Tinubu declares the laws effective from Jan 1. Various groups, including the Nigerian Bar Association and Nigeria Labour Congress, have raised concerns over alleged discrepancies in the gazetted version passed by the National Assembly.
