Amosun Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Presidency, Cites National Growth Importance

Former Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun expressed his support for a second term for President Bola Tinubu in 2027 during Tinubu's 68th birthday celebration in Abeokuta. Amosun highlighted the significance of Tinubu's re-election for the country's development and political stability.

He stressed the need for the rotational presidency between the North and South of Nigeria, citing the completion of President Muhammadu Buhari's eight-year tenure as a precedent. Amosun reaffirmed the commitment of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to equity and national stability.

The event was attended by several APC stalwarts, including Lekan Adegbiti, Ademola Adegoroye, Sarafa Tunji Isola, Tunde Lemo, Iyabo Anisulowo, and Gbenga Obadara, among others.
