Anambra: ADC coalition unveils candidates

The Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition in Anambra State has unveiled its candidates for the upcoming governorship election. Mr.

John Nwosu, the ADC governorship candidate, emphasized the need to end insecurity, review taxes, and support small businesses in the state. The campaign kickoff event on August 16 introduced candidates such as Mrs.

Justina Azuka and Mr. Chidi Amamgbo, who are seeking to represent their constituencies.

Nwosu criticized the incumbent governor, Chukwuma Soludo, for failing in areas such as security and development. He promised a transformative and adaptive governance model, focusing on Security, Health, Education, Economy, Enterprise, Market, and Social Welfare (SHEEEMS).

Nwosu also pledged to address corruption, improve transparency, and reduce taxes to benefit the underserved population. The coalition aims to bring about a change in leadership and secure victory in the election.
