Soludo Defeats ADC, LP Candidates in Anambra Governorship Election

In the Anambra state elections, APGA's candidate, Professor Soludo, defeated his major opponents George Moghalu of the Labour Party and John Chuma Nwosu of the African Democratic Congress in Nnewi North LGA. Despite a high voter registration, there was a low turnout with only 29,284 total votes cast.

Soludo garnered 20,320 votes, while the LP's Georg Moghalu received 1,140 votes. The ADC's John Chuma Nwosu got 553 votes.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the results at the state collation center.
