Anambra Assembly Confirms Soludo's Commissioner Nominees

The Anambra State House of Assembly confirmed the second batch of commissioner-nominees submitted by Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.

This confirmation took place after a screening process led by Deputy Speaker Chukwuma Okoy, who presented the report on the nominees. The nominees, including Henri Arinz and Nonso Ebonwu, were found to meet the statutory requirements for public office, possessing the requisite academic qualifications and professional experience.

Speaker Somtochukwu Udez emphasized the significant trust the governor placed in the nominees and urged them to conduct their work in a manner that reflects the expectations of the people of Anambra. Udez also expressed gratitude to the House for the confirmation and pledged that the nominees would work diligently to serve the state.

Earlier, on Wednesday, the House confirmed 18 commissioner nominees sent by Governor Soludo.
