96-Year-Old Woman Emotional After Being Prevented From Voting in Anambra Election

In Anambra State, a 96-year-old woman was unable to cast her vote in the governorship election at Umudimakasi Agulu due to lacking a valid voter card, causing her to break down in tears. The incident was reported by Vanguard Newspaper, with the woman identified as Elizabeth Onik.

Dimma Nwobi from the Nigerian Civil Society Situation Room observed the election, highlighting issues like alleged vote buying. Yunusa Tanko of the Obidi Movement also raised concerns about the credibility of the ongoing election.
