Anambra FA Confirms Ralph Nweke as Secretary, Shows Support for Iloenyosi's Leadership

The Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA) confirmed Ralph Nweke as the substantive Secretary during a board meeting held in Awka. The board expressed a vote of confidence in Chief Chikelu Iloenyosi's leadership.

The meeting, which took place on February 4, 2026, also approved February 6, 2026, as the date for its annual general assembly. The board discussed the need for proper approval and regulation of football activities in the state, warning against unauthorized competitions.

The board also decided to dissolve its standing committees except for the Electoral Appeal Committee, with plans to constitute new standing committees soon. Members present included Chief Chikelu Iloenyosi, Aniekwena Victor, Akanna Cordelia Nsony, Chief Ifejika Johnson, Princ Michael Mbaezu Ezeokafor, Donatu Uchechukwu, Pastor Ijeoma Nwosu, and Secretary Ralph Nweke.
