Anambra Governorship Election: Soludo Leads Amid Allegations of Vote-Buying

In the Anambra Governorship Election, Chukwuma Soludo of APGA is leading with low voter turnout. Allegations of vote-buying surfaced, with concerns raised by other candidates like Peter Obi, Georg Moghalu, and Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu.

The election was the first conducted under the new INEC chairman, Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan, who noted improvements in the commission's performance. Results from 15 local government areas have been uploaded to the INEC portal, with the APC candidate leading in some LGAs.

However, the collation of results had not commenced at the time of reporting.
