Anambra Election: CSO Deploys 5,000 Observers for Fairness and Peace

The Civil Society Organization (CSO) is deploying over 5,000 independent observers to monitor the upcoming Anambra State governorship election on November 8, 2025. Led by Alex Okemiri of the Igbo Polit Network (IPN), the move aims to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful electoral process in the region known for political violence.

The observers will work to prevent intimidation, ensure voter participation, and maintain a level playing field for all candidates. The initiative seeks to safeguard the democratic rights of the people and enhance the credibility of the election.
