LP Chairman in Anambra Alleges Threats from Guber Candidate

The Chairman of the Labour Party (LP) in Anambra State, Comrade Peter Okoye, has raised an alarm over alleged threats to his life by the party's gubernatorial candidate, Dr. George Moghalu.

Okoye claimed to have received a threatening phone call warning him to withdraw a court case challenging Moghalu's candidacy within 48 hours. The court had previously asked Moghalu to stop parading as the LP's governorship candidate.

Okoye suspects the call came from someone loyal to Moghalu and maintains that Moghalu is an impostor in the party.
