Anambra Police to Deploy Drones for Election Surveillance

The Anambra State Police Command is set to deploy drones for monitoring the November 8 governorship election. The Police Commissioner, Ikioy Orutugu, revealed the plan during a sensitization visit to the Nnewi office.

The drones will cover polling areas across the state to prevent any attempts to interfere with the electoral process. ACP Augustin Oyamiel raised concerns about the lack of patrol vehicles in the Nnewi area command, highlighting the need for community cooperation to enhance security measures.
