Senator Umeh Commends Peaceful Anambra Election, Emphasizes Respect for Voters' Choice

Senator Victor Umeh of Anambra Central District commended the peaceful conduct of the ongoing governorship election in Anambra State. Umeh highlighted the significance of citizens' active participation in the democratic process and urged respect for voters' choices.

He revealed his past involvement as a state collation agent in five different governorship elections from 2003 to 2021. Umeh opted to stay away from active campaigning this year to allow the people to freely choose their leader.

Security arrangements across the state were also praised for ensuring a peaceful voting exercise.
