Anambra State to Enforce Cashless Tax Payments

Anambra State has announced the commencement of cashless tax payments, as disclosed during the first meeting of the Anambra State Executive Council under Governor Chukwuma Soludo's second term. The meeting took place at the Light House in Awka on Monday.

The council emphasized that cash collection for tax payments is prohibited and that those who default will face severe penalties. This decision is part of the council's objectives to enhance team cohesion and ensure that members understand their responsibilities.

The council also plans to hold a retreat aimed at establishing a more cohesive working environment. Additionally, the West African College of Nursing and the African University of Science and Technology presented an award to Governor Soludo for his outstanding performance in nursing, recognizing Anambra State's commitment to digital skills acquisition, with 260,000 individuals trained so far.
