Anthony Joshua Pays Tribute to Friends After Fatal Crash in Nigeria

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua made his first public statement after a fatal road accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two close friends and team members. The accident occurred on December 29 along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, resulting in the deaths of Sina Ghami and Latif Latz Ayodel.

Joshua sustained minor injuries and was discharged from the hospital on New Year's Eve before returning to the United Kingdom. The accident occurred due to brake failure, narrowly escaping death himself.

Joshua expressed grief and solidarity with the families of the deceased in a social media post.
