The announcement was made by Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, who confirmed that Joshua has signed a two-fight deal for the Riyadh season. Joshua expressed his excitement about stepping back into the ring, stating that he has taken time to consolidate and rebuild after the accident.

This fight will mark Joshua's first bout since his knockout victory over Jake Paul in December. The event will be part of an esports World Cup event and will be broadcast live on DAZN.
