Atiku Accuses EFCC of Political Witch-Hunts

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly deviating from its anti-corruption mandate to engage in political witch-hunts. Atiku warned that the EFCC risks losing public trust by becoming a tool for partisan interests, particularly targeting opposition figures like Abubakar Malami.

He accused the EFCC of ignoring corruption allegations involving ruling party members like Bola Tinubu. Atiku called for the EFCC's leadership to detach the agency from political manipulation to safeguard its integrity.
