Bayelsa Deputy Governor Collapses, Rushed to ICU in Yenagoa

Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo of Bayelsa State collapsed and was taken to the ICU at the Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa. Eyewitnesses described his condition as serious upon arrival at the hospital, where he was stabilized.

While the cause of his health issue remains undisclosed, sources suggest it may be related to a cardiac emergency. Efforts to reach his media aide, Doubara Atasi, for comments were unsuccessful.

The government officials and top dignitaries have expressed concern over his critical condition.
