APC Chieftain Mike Ikoku Empowers 1,000 Imo Residents

Mike Ikoku, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), organized an empowerment program for 1,000 residents of Obinocha Village in Nkwere Local Government Area, Imo State, during an event held on Easter Sunday. Ikoku expressed gratitude to God and emphasized the importance of giving back to the community, reflecting on the sacrifices of Jesus Christ.

He commended Governor Hope Uzodinma for his leadership and the strides made in infrastructure development, economic growth, and job creation initiatives aimed at sustaining peace in the state. Ikoku addressed political speculations regarding his ambitions, stating he has no plans to contest the 2027 general elections and is focused on supporting the current administration.

The empowerment program benefited residents from neighboring communities, including Ish, Owerri, Nkwoji, Umudi, Umuwala, and Amaegbu. Ikoku, a former chieftain of the People's Democratic Party who recently defected to the APC, aims to contribute to legislative processes that promote the development of the people.
