APC Chieftain Omisore Declares Bid for Osun 2026 Governorship Election

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Iyiola Omisore, has declared his intention to contest the 2026 governorship election in the state. Omisore made the announcement on social media, with a formal declaration scheduled for October 7, 2025, at the Osun APC Secretariat in Osogbo.

His campaign theme is "Fix Broken, Restore Dreams," focusing on hope restoration, governance strengthening, and a brighter future for the people of Osun State. Omisore, who previously contested in the 2014 governorship election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is now expected to be a leading aspirant in the APC for the governorship ticket.
