APC Maps Out 2027 Campaign Trail from Kaduna to Lagos

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress unveiled its campaign itinerary spanning Nigeria's 36 states plus the Federal Capital Territory over three months. On October 24, 2026, Kaduna State will host the official launch event, where President Bola Tinubu is expected to be present.

The final major rally takes place in Lagos on January 9, 2027. Early stops on the campaign trail include Cross River State (November 2), Gombe (November 3), Ekiti (November 5), and Rivers State (November 7), according to the party's published schedule.

All six geopolitical zones receive coverage as the APC prepares for the presidential election cycle. The party shared this itinerary via social media on Thursday.

Twelve designated locations will host President Tinubu in person during the campaign period, the party stated. Yet reports show the president will skip rallies in over 20 states, with the APC citing the need to balance campaign participation with responsibilities of governing.

Party officials and senior leaders will step in to represent the APC at events without the president's personal attendance. Some critics from opposition camps have raised concerns about the president's relatively limited visibility on the rally circuit, though the party attributes this decision to juggling both electoral activities and day-to-day administration.
