APC Aspirant Wears Bulletproof Vest During Visit

Imran Kana, an aspirant for the APC senatorial position, visited communities in Nasarawa while wearing a bulletproof vest, a precaution following recent violent attacks in the area. His visit aimed to console residents in Apura, a district impacted by these attacks, which reportedly claimed several lives and destroyed approximately 50 houses and valuable agricultural produce worth millions of naira.

The visit received mixed reactions, with some praising Kana's efforts to support the affected communities. Additionally, the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State convened a peace meeting with stakeholders from the affected communities to restore peace and prevent further escalation of violence in the region.

The incidents have raised concerns about security and the safety of residents in Nasarawa.
