APGA Collapses Structure Into ADC In Abia South

The Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia South senatorial zone has collapsed its structure into the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The decision was announced by the APGA zonal chairman, Chief Charles Nwanyanwu, during a meeting in Aba.

The ADC Chairman in Abia State, Norman Obinna, officially declared the merger, stating that many APGA members in Abia South had chosen to join ADC due to ongoing crises within APGA. The move was met with approval by former APGA members, who believe that the party has effectively died in the state.

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, who represents Abia South district under APGA, was said to be aware of the decision but emphasized that his focus is on serving the people, regardless of party affiliation. The former APGA members expressed hope that ADC's message of good governance will resonate with voters in the upcoming elections.
