Mikel Taunts Arsenal After Champions League Final Loss

John Obi Mikel, a former Chelsea midfielder, publicly taunted Arsenal after their UEFA Champions League final loss to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Saturday. Mikel took to social media to emphasize Chelsea's achievements, posting a picture of the Champions League trophy on Chelsea's official Instagram account.

He remarked, "Arsenal cannot touch the trophy," underscoring that Arsenal remains without a European title despite reaching two Champions League finals in their history. Mikel's comments came after Arsenal's defeat in a penalty shootout against PSG, which marked their second consecutive loss in the Champions League final.

He reflected on his own successful career at Chelsea, where he won nine major trophies, including the Champions League in 2012. Mikel criticized Arsenal's fanbase, suggesting they are delusional and predicting Chelsea's resurgence next season.

Arsenal's best performance in European competition remains as runners-up in 2006 when they lost to Barcelona.
