Osimhen's €75M Transfer to Galatasaray Stuns Officials

Victor Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently last summer after a loan spell at Napoli, despite strong interest from Arsenal and Saudi Arabian clubs. Galatasaray's vice president, Abdullah Kavukcu, revealed that the club triggered Osimhen's €75 million release clause, which was part of a five-year deal with Napoli.

This move positions Osimhen among the highest earners in the Turkish Super Lig, with a guaranteed salary of €15 million per season, including a €1 million annual loyalty bonus and €5 million per year for image rights over the four-year agreement. The total financial commitment for Galatasaray is estimated at €159 million.

Kavukcu stated that the club has no intention of selling the striker, even for a record bid, emphasizing that Osimhen's value extends beyond his goal-scoring ability to his commercial impact.
