Art X Lagos 2025 Celebrates a Decade of African Creativity with Iconic Artist J.D. Okhai Ojeikere

Art X Lagos 2025 marks its tenth anniversary with a celebration of African creativity in Lagos, featuring exhibitions, galleries, and cultural programs. The event, held from November 6 to 9, highlighted the works of iconic Nigerian artist J.D.

Okhai Ojeikere and attracted dignitaries including Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Minister of Finance Wale Edun. The event showcased the economic and diplomatic impact of art, with Art X Lagos founder Tokini Peterside emphasizing the importance of shaping the urban future through art.

The celebration also featured a spotlight on Paris residency programs and historical exhibitions, reflecting a decade of promoting African art and culture.
