Asake Announces Release Date for Album 'M$NEY'

Nigerian artist Asake has officially announced that his highly-anticipated album titled 'M$NEY' will be released on May 1, 2026. This album will be his fourth LP and sixth overall project in five years.

It will include 13 tracks, featuring previously released singles and collaborations with notable artists such as Tiakola and DJ Snake, aiming to enhance his global appeal. Asake's announcement was made via a social media post, which included a video showcasing the album cover art created by a stone carver.

The release follows his successful joint EP with Afrobeat megastar, which reached the top of Nigeria's premier music chart. The upcoming album is expected to build on the momentum of his last three projects, which have contributed to his rise as a pop superstar in Africa.

Predominantly featuring lyrics in Yoruba, the album will showcase Asake's unique blend of indigenous music and contemporary genres, positioning him for greater success on the global stage.
