ASCON DG Funke Adepoju Named Oxford Visiting Fellow, Driving Governance Reform

Funke Adepoju, the Director-General of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), has been named the 2025/2026 AIG-Blavatnik Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford. Adepoju's appointment places her among a distinguished group of Nigerians who have received this fellowship, including notable figures like former INEC Chairman Attahiru Jega.

Adepoju aims to transform ASCON into a national reform hub and accelerator, focusing on digital governance and aligning with Nigeria's Federal Civil Service Strategy Implementation Plan 2025. This fellowship is seen as a significant milestone for both Adepoju personally and for Nigeria's governance reform efforts.
