Asisat Oshoala Wins Saudi Women’s Premier League Player of the Month Award

Nigerian football star Asisat Oshoala has been named the Saudi Women’s Premier League Player of the Month after joining Riyadh club Bay FC. Oshoala, who recently moved from the United States, received 55% of the fan vote, surpassing her competitors.

With three goals and two assists in three matches, Oshoala has had a significant impact on Al Hilal's perfect start to the season. Her closest rival, Ibtissam Jraïdi, has also shown strong performances, but Oshoala's contributions have been pivotal.

The award comes ahead of a crucial fixture between Jraïdi's Al Ahli and Clara Luvanga's Al Nassr, shaping the early title race in the league.
