APC Chieftains Criticize Senator Wadada's Tactics

APC chieftains in Nasarawa State, including Zamani Daniel Ibrahim Tukur, publicly criticized Senator Wadada for purportedly employing dishonest tactics to gain endorsements for his gubernatorial ambitions in the upcoming 2027 elections. In a statement issued to journalists on Wednesday, they warned Senator Wadada against intimidating opponents and highlighted that the party's support for Bola Tinubu should not be misconstrued as a guarantee for victory in the polls.

The party stalwarts maintained that the APC should adopt direct primaries, encouraging aspirants to connect with the electorate rather than resorting to "crook means" for endorsements. This criticism follows the recent endorsement of Senator Wadada's gubernatorial aspirations by the current governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, which has raised concerns among party members regarding the integrity of the endorsement process.
