Nollywood Reflects on Growth and Challenges at 5th NFVCB Digital Conference

The 5th NFVCB Digital Conference saw Nollywood discussing its growth, struggles, and global recognition. The Afrik Intern Film Festiv (AIFF) is set to debut in Port Harcourt next year, aiming to empower filmmakers and celebrate African stories.

The festival's program coordinator, Toka McBaror, and CEO, Wisdom Nwankpa, emphasized the need to build investor confidence in Nollywood and promote foreign collaborations. AIFF plans to offer masterclasses and opportunities for filmmakers to showcase their work, with a focus on capacity building and industry impact.
