Atiku Denies Gifting Officer New Car After Clash with Wike in Abuja

Former Vice President Atiku debunked reports of gifting military officer Lieutenant Yerima a new Toyota SUV after a verbal clash with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike during a land dispute enforcement visit in Abuja. Atiku's media advisor, Paul Ibe, stated that Atiku did not give Yerima or anyone a car, labeling the reports as false.

The Ministry of Defence also assured proper administrative channels for handling such confrontations. The incident raised discussions on civil-military relations and the need for appropriate conflict resolution methods.
