Atiku's Aide Accuses Tinubu of Electoral Forgery

Paul Ib, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has publicly accused the administration of President Bola Tinubu of engaging in repeated forgery that undermines Nigeria's electoral process. In a statement shared via Verifi, Ib claimed that the ruling Progressive Congress (APC) has systematically engaged in forgery across several sectors, including tax reforms and electoral amendments.

He specifically referenced a report from February 2026 by Premium Times, which allegedly flagged 92 federal government projects as ghost projects. Furthermore, Ib highlighted concerns regarding the authenticity of documents required for electoral qualifications, such as school certificates and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificates, asserting that the government has adopted and presented forged documents as part of its state policy.
