Atletico Madrid Open to Selling Ademola Lookman

Atletico Madrid is considering the sale of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, who joined the club from Atalanta in February 2023 for around €35 million, plus add-ons. Lookman signed a contract until 2030 but has struggled to adapt to Diego Simeone's defensive demands.

Despite contributing four goals in La Liga and participating in the Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League, Atletico is exploring offers for him as part of a broader squad rebuild. Several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, are monitoring Lookman's situation due to his versatility in the attack.

Liverpool is also tracking him, while Manchester United has shown interest in his reliable output in wide areas. Fenerbahce is expected to revive its previous interest in Lookman, who famously scored a hat trick in the Europa League final with Atalanta, where he registered 55 goals during his time in Bergamo.
