Australia Introduces Frequent Traveller Visa for Ten Nations

Australia's Department of Home Affairs has released details regarding the Frequent Traveller stream of the Visitor visa (subclass 600), which is available to citizens from ten countries: China, Brunei, Cambodia, the Philippines, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Timor-Leste. This visa allows holders to enter and exit Australia as many times as they wish during its validity.

Permitted activities include holidays, visiting family or friends, and engaging in business visitor activities. Visa holders may also study for up to three months and participate in approved volunteer work tourism schemes, although paid work is prohibited.

Travellers wishing to stay beyond the visa's validity must apply for a new visa. Upon arrival, they must complete an Incoming Passenger Card and carry a valid passport or accepted travel document.
