Autopsy Confirms Destiny Boy's Death Cause as Drugs

Destiny Boy, a promising young afro-fuji artist, passed away on January 17, 2026, leading to public outrage and demands for an autopsy due to controversial circumstances surrounding his death. A video circulated on social media showing his body being transported to a mortuary, which fueled rumors about the cause of his death.

Following this, the police initiated a homicide investigation and conducted an autopsy to clarify the situation. The autopsy report, released a week ago, confirmed that Destiny Boy's death was caused by harmful levels of tramadol and its metabolite methamphetamine.

DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, a police spokesperson, confirmed the release of the autopsy report, which concluded the cause of death in a terse statement.
